Online Homeschool Education and Fun
These classes will be include a live, teacher led class with student interaction. There will be a literature study along with a role play on the server. Students will meet up on SKrafty to role play each book. There is something for all ages. Find more information and register below:
Join us as we learn more about Christmas and how it is celebrated all over the world. We will be learning about Christmas traditions in Germany, Greece, Ethiopia, Egypt, Jamaica, Ukraine, Iceland, Vietnam, Serbia, Syria, and Argentina.
There will be a short daily lesson with a little bit of reading and some videos.
Following are the details:
Study will take place starting on Monday, December 14th, 2015. The day’s lesson will be posted each morning. Don’t worry about getting behind or catching up. You can just jump in whenever you get ready. Students will log in to our EDU site to get their lesson and build for the day. The builds will be done on SKrafty in the 12Days server.

What is Pi? Pi represents a number. It’s an infinite number. That mean it goes on and on and on and never stops. A shortened form of PI is 3.14 so that’s why we talk about PI on March 14th each year or 3/14. It is represented by the Greek symbol.

Now that you’ve learned a little about Pi, let’s have a Minecraft Challenge!! Can you build Pi in Minecraft? Of course you can!
The number for Pi is 3.14159265358979323846864338327950288419716939937510582097… and it goes on and on and on.
Build a representation of Pi in Minecraft. You can use any materials you want. I chose to use wool. In the picture you can see that the first column has 3 wool in it, the 2nd one has 1 wool, the 4th has 4 and so on.
Build #2: Here’s another idea if you’d like! Build a pixel art image of Pi. Here’s what it looks like:
To start you can print it or draw it on Graph paper to get perspective.
Now that you’ve learned about Pi and built your Pi…it’s time to have a little snack! Make a Pi!! Use your favorite recipe and create one of these:

Are you looking for something fun and educational for the kids to do for President’s Day? This is the class for you. This is a 2 week self paced class with weekly assignments so that your students can work through the assignments on their own time. This class will also include a fun, mock-election in which students can participate.
What’s to learn? We will learn about a few of the most famous U.S. Presidents, a history of the White House, and a little about how the presidential election works.
